For Christmas, I got a bunch of LEDs, resistors and other electronics goodies! I am so excited! I have a lot of work to do though, as I have to remember all of my Physics lessons from school. I’ve started reading up on things a little, but I found this video the most helpful thing yet. It all makes sense to me so far, which is a relief!
I have lots of exciting projects I want to try, and some great craft books that I got for Christmas. This is going to be a great year for crafting!

Oh em geeee. These super cute mugs were discovered in my local charity shop. Love ‘em.
I was browsing the Sewing Cafe’s facebook page the other day and they had posted about some lovely bunting that they made recently, and linked out to the Purl Bee. What a find! Purl Bee has a whole host of inspiration as well as patterns and projects to try. I fell in love with a pattern they had on there for felt dolls, and using their instructions, I had a bash at making my first ever doll.
It was a great project, no machine stitching involved, all done by hand and so relaxing to do. Felt is so fun and easy to work with.
And I think I have leveled up in the nerdiness stakes with this one
